Experimental Status
The Seven Rays belong to an esoteric philosophical tradition and have not been scientifically demonstrated as measurable physical energies.
The musical notes, frequencies, intervals, rhythms, colors, and sensory relationships presented here form an experimental interpretive model inspired by traditional Ray qualities.
Physical phenomena such as acoustic frequency, interference, beating, consonance, rhythm, light wavelength, and mechanical vibration can be objectively measured. Their correspondence with individual Rays remains exploratory.
From Correspondence to Experience
The intention of An Experimental Musical Model of the Seven Rays is not to establish another fixed system of occult frequencies, but to create a thoughtful meeting place between symbolic teaching and measurable physical phenomena.
Within that meeting place, sound becomes something to observe as well as hear, light something to study as well as see, and vibration something to understand as well as feel.
Can the qualities attributed to the Seven Rays be meaningfully explored through carefully constructed relationships of sound, light, rhythm, and vibration?Seven Rays Musical Explorer User Guide
The Seven Rays Musical Explorer User Guide provides an introduction to the theoretical model, explains the listening controls and musical relationships used for each Ray, and offers guidance for approaching the experiment through careful observation and reflection.
